Yes, I'm still here. And yes, I've still been trying to upload pictures... unsuccessfully I might add. I've done everything I know to do. Mitch has even been trying to help and I've done everything she's suggested too.
Life is good. Just trying to get settled into our new home. It's so much fun. I spent last weekend working at the restaurant because I'm going on a girls' trip in November to Canton and there is so much I want for the house.
Ash has been getting home and pretty much changing immediately and going to the pool with some friends in the neighborhood. It's pretty cool because she can walk to the pool with little to no traffic. We are close to the tennis courts too, and when I get good and ready I'm gonna walk over there and play like I know what I'm doing. I guess I better get a tennis racket first. And a tennis ball. And I guess I need to have a partner also.
My son is now living with his grandparents... It's a long story. He doesn't like being confined and stayed at the neighbor's house everyday until we got home. He hates being alone, so he went to find himself a playmate. The neighbor across the street told Ashley that he needed to either be on a leash, held or kept inside the fence. So, now Jackson is living with his grandparents. The neighbor wasn't being rude, but I can pretty much bet that he didn't want Jackson any where near his award winning flowerbeds. He's pretty old, too. I told Matt yesterday that when he passes on, we are bringing Jackson back home.
Jackson has it good, though. I know he misses us, but his nanna makes him his own breakfast. Eggs and bacon. And he gets to wander around free...
As for your neighbor, every street has one. You did the right thing by taking Jackson to your mom's. If not, you'd be picking him up from the pound every week.
Good for Ashley for getting out there. It sounds like she's already made plenty of friends.
As for you playing tennis, we have a court about two blocks away. If it's easier than it looks, let me know. I've been afraid I'll come to work with a black eye everyday.
Yes, thank you.
