So after Ashley's concert Saturday night, I reminded her to take her trombone back to school on Monday. She said ok. Typical answer. I think she just says it to pacify me for the time being. Again on Monday morning, I reminded her to take her instrument with her to school. Matt was taking her, so it would be very easy for her. This morning I walked into her room to ask her if she wanted to go eat with Karri and Angela tonight and saw her instrument in her room. I asked her why she hasn't taken it to school yet. Her reply, "I forgot." Now seriously, I've been telling you since Saturday. "I'm sorry mom, I just forgot. Is that a sin? I just forgot."
It's amazing what short term memory loss they have at such a young age, isn't it?
