Matt left for the weekend so it was just the kids and I at home. Friday Ashley went to the movies with Cody and some other friends. I took her and Cody's mom brought her home. Bryce and I just did his normal routine. Eat, bath, play, bedtime... He was in bed asleep at 8:15pm. I took that time to get caught up on my shows I never have time to watch during the week. It was rather nice, getting to control what was playing on the t.v. Ash got home at 9:30. It's a long story. I'll have to have a separate post for that one. I was in bed by 10:30 and didn't wake up until 5:30am when I heard Bryce starting to wake for his bottle. I fed him and then put him in bed with me where we both slept until 7:30. I did manage to get the garage cleaned out and swept and Ashley mowed the front yard. Bryce was just a bundle of fun the whole day! I sometimes wish I could be a stay at home mom. That could work, we'd just have to move and downgrade our cars! Saturday evening I let Ash drive us around the neighborhood. This was the first time since she drove the car into the garage... She really needs more practice. That year off didn't help her much. We drove to the park to let Bryce swing. He was in heaven. He loves to swing. We put him to bed early and she and I watched a movie and ate popcorn. It was nice having that time by ourselves. She is so much fun to be around when things are going her way.. Sunday was spent doing chores and getting the house cleaned. Ashley kept Bryce in her room pretty much all day so I could get stuff done. That was nice! Although, she didn't have to do any cleaning so it worked out perfectly for her!! When Matt got home he had already promised to take Ashley to eat crawfish at the Cactus so I told him we'd go too. We met Evan and Lisa there. We sat outside and Bryce walked around in his little walker. When we got home Matt was alittle tired and fell asleep on the bed so Ashley decided to decorate him. He never even budged. It was priceless!! Here's a few pictures from the weekend... Here's Bryce driving his little car.
I know it's not Easter anymore, but I never took pictures of him in his outfit on Easter. Nice capris, huh?? Note to self: make sure to buy clothes a little bigger than his current size.
A few pictures like this for daddy.
Just waking up from a nap. We love this time with him. Sweet and cuddly.
Ashley's masterpiece!!

Sounds like a great weekend. Oh yeah, no matter what Matt says, husbands like it when you post these kinds of pictures of them on your blog.
